Hi, several years ago a group of women gathered together for lunch and called the group Just Us Ladies (Juls) having lunch and getting together every Thursday at our restaurant in our community Verona Walk which is composed of 1,900 homes in a gated community. We meet every Thursday at 11:30 and it is open to all women who want to get to know their neighbors and come when they can…
I am the leader now, having everyone introduced themselves and exchange ideas and share information. It has been a labor of love and a bonding experience for all.

Ciao. Diversi anni fa un gruppo di donne
cominciò a riunirsi per pranzo e chiamò questo gruppo
"Just Us Ladies (Juls)",
pranzando e incontrandosi ogni giovedì
nel nostro ristorante nella nostra comunità Verona Walk,
che è composta da 1.900 homes
in una gated community (*).
Ci incontriamo ogni giovedì alle 11.30.
Il gruppo è aperto a tutte le donne
che vogliono conoscere le loro vicine
e vengono quando possono...
In questo momento io sono la leader,
visto che tutte si sono presentate,
hanno scambiato idee e condiviso informazioni.
È stato per tutte un lavoro d'amore
e un'esperienza che ci lega.

What a beautiful group of Italian ladies 🇺🇸❤️🇮🇹
Our group meets weekly and varies in the number of attendees… We are now a social group dining together and due to the Covid pandemic, many did not attend for over a year, and have found other activities to pursue. Most of us are retired, involved in other activities such as tennis, pickle ball, bocce, tap dancing, book clubs, social dancing, volunteering, and our Community puts together a Fashion show yearly, many other fun activities, and entertaining family and friends… We had a philosophy group which had a new topic every month but had to disband again due to Covid…
Thank you for your interest, and will send an update when I can…
My husband and a group are doing a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, France and Spain..in October and will post a few photos on FB.

Il nostro gruppo si riunisce settimanalmente e varia nel numero di partecipanti...
Ora siamo un gruppo sociale che pranza insieme.
A causa della pandemia di Covid, molti non partecipano da oltre un anno
e hanno trovato altre attività da perseguire.
La maggior parte di noi è in pensione,
è coinvolta in altre attività come tennis, pickle ball, bocce, tip tap,
club del libro, balli sociali, volontariato
e la nostra Comunità organizza annualmente una sfilata di moda,
molte altre attività divertenti e per intrattenere la famiglia e gli amici…
Avevamo un gruppo di filosofia che aveva un nuovo argomento ogni mese
ma ha dovuto sciogliersi di nuovo a causa del Covid…
Grazie per l'interessamento e appena posso manderò un aggiornamento...

Another beautiful day in Naples, and a good day to get
together, as the temperatures in the northern states have begun to fall, and tomorrow is the first day of Autumn🍁

Jul Bertha came today and brought a new project she crocheted to show us which
took 20 hours to complete… a Queen of England doll to honor the late Queen
Elizabeth…
Bertha is 96 years old and 6 days younger than the late Queen 💐
Remarkable to say the least ❣️
Everyone shared
what is happening in their own lives, and we want to send ‘healing wishes’
to Sharon W., Barb Lipke, Barbara Heinz and the spouses of Nancy K., Mary Lou,
Chris H., and all others who are overcoming a health condition. Stay well, and
happy travels to all heading back to Verona Walk 👩❤️👩
Un altro bel giorno in Naples e un buon giorno per stare insieme,
visto che le temperature negli Stati del Nord hanno cominciato a scendere
e domani è il primo giorno di autunno.
Oggi è venuta la nostra eccezionale Jul Bertha ed ha portato un nuovo progetto,
che ha realizzato a crocet, per farcelo vedere e che ha richiesto venti ore per essere completato...
una bambola della Regina d'Inghilterra, per onorare l'ultima Regina: Elisabetta...
Berta ha novantasei anni ed è sei giorni più giovane dell'ultima regina.
Notevole è dire il minimo!
Ognuno ha condiviso ciò che è accaduto nella propria vita.
Noi vogliamo mandare auguri di guarigione a......... coloro che stanno superando una cattiva condizione di salute.
State bene... e felice viaggio a tutti quelli che stanno tornarnando a Verona Walk.

No wonder we were getting so many calls…thank goodness we have had only minimal damage to screens and bushes…we pray for all those who have had the surges and damage 🙏 and hopefully no injury/death reported.
Non abbiamo avuto notizie, internet e niente televisione o radio per parecchie ore...
abbiamo avuto soltanto notizie dal vecchio canale TV 2 sulla devastazione di case
e dell'acqua a nord di noi in Naples, Bonita Springs, Ft Myers e ancora più a Nord...
Noi non abbiamo avuto una mareggiata nella nostra area di Verona Walk
ma altri luoghi ora sono alluvionati!
Noi siamo stati a casa tutto il giorno senza avere notizie della distruzione intorno a noi.
L'alluvione e la devastazione dovuta alla seconda parte con mareggiate e le pesanti velocità del vento
ci hanno scioccato mentre noi eravamo al sicuro nella nostra area.
Nessuna meraviglia se abbiamo ricevuto così tante chiamate...
grazie al cielo noi abbiamo avuto danni minimì a vetri e cespugli....
preghiamo per tutti quelli che hanno avuto la mareggiata e i danni...
e speriamo che non ci siano stati feriti o morti.

Sveglia alle due di mattina,
abbiamo incontrato il nostro gruppo in centro città
e siamo andati in bus a Ft. Lauderdale, fatto il check-in,
ci imbarcheremo per New York, poi partiremo per Roma.
Una lungo giorno/ notte e saremo in Italia domani.
